Part-Time Apartment Maintenance Technician - Lake Orion, MI Apartment complex in Lake Orion is looking for a reliable, experienced part-time maintenance technician to help maintain two apartment communities. This position is approximately 15-25 hours per week and is ideal for someone with general apartment maintenance, construction, handyman, or property maintenance experience. We are looking for someone who lives in or very close to Lake Orion and wants consistent part-time work.

Responsibilities include:

Handling routine apartment maintenance and repair requests Preparing and refurbishing apartments between residents Interior painting and drywall repair Minor plumbing repairs Minor electrical repairs Replacing fixtures, faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, locks, etc. Troubleshooting common apartment maintenance issues General carpentry and repairs Helping maintain common areas and property grounds as needed Identifying larger maintenance issues that require an outside contractor Keeping maintenance work organized and communicating completed work to management Handle after-hour emergency maintenance calls

Ideal Candidate:

Previous apartment maintenance, handyman, construction, or similar experience Comfortable completing apartment turns and working independently Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and general repairs Reliable and able to communicate well with property management and residents Has reliable transportation and basic tools Lives in Lake Orion or nearby Able to manage work efficiently without requiring constant supervision

Schedule:

Approximately 15-25 hours per week with some flexibility in scheduling.
