Job Summary/Basic Function:
Are you a hands on learner looking to gain valuable trades skills while earning money during the summer? Lake Superior State University's Facilities management team is seeking motivated student workers for our Summer 2026 semester. As a student worker in Trades, you'll work alongside experienced professionals maintaining our beautiful campus. Your responsibilities will include assisting the Trades department and with maintenance and construction services for assigned buildings around campus.
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently enrolled LSSU student Self-Motivated individuals who enjoy problem-solving Interest in developing practical trades skills Strong Work Ethic and attention to safety
Physical Demands:
Some Heavy Lifting may be required ( 50lbs or more)
Work Hours:
Monday - Friday; Up to 19 hours per week with Flexible scheduling
