Carefree Living by Oxford Living in Aurora is looking for a Full/Part time Maintenance Assistant to join our growing and established Assisted Living communities. Schedule:
Position is Full/Part-time based on needs of the location
RESPONSIBILITIES
Preventative maintenance General repairs Painting and maintaining interior and exterior of the building Mowing, trimming, weeding, watering, shoveling, snow removal etc. Attend to parking area and yard-property for orderly appearance and clean of debris Prepare resident rooms upon vacancy Perform duties of carpet and floor cleaning This position requires the employee to supply and maintain their own tools necessary to perform assigned maintenance duties.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must be hard working and self-motivated. Proven work history available to verify mechanical skill level is required. Two-year technical degree or equivalent in building maintenance or related field is preferred. Position requires the ability to accurately and independently direct and follow through on work activities. Candidates must be willing to interact with others - experience in the senior housing industry preferred, not required. Candidates will be subject to a criminal background study and must be able to meet the mental and physical requirements of the position.
