Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic community as a Condominium Caretaker, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our residential complex. This energetic position offers the opportunity to oversee daily facilities maintenance, perform minor repairs, and ensure homeowners enjoy a clean, secure, and well-managed environment. Your proactive approach and technical expertise will contribute to creating a welcoming and efficient living space for all homeowners. Responsibilities Ensure the facility is safe. Conduct inspections of the building's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to identify issues early and coordinate necessary repairs. Perform routine maintenance tasks and complete work orders. Ensure facility is clean and neat. Remove trash and recycling for regular pickups, clean the guest suite, pool area , boiler rooms and miscellaneous areas as needed. Coordinate vendors/contractors and maintenance staff during repair projects, ensuring quality work and safety compliance. Respond promptly to homeowner requests and concerns related to building operations or repairs with professionalism and customer service excellence. Complete administrative activities such as taking guest suite reservations, purchasing supplies, updating the Board of Directors on work orders, vendor contacts and building conditions. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or residential building caretaking. Skilled in general handyman tasks. Ability to read contracts, warranties and repair instructions . Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and homeowner interactions. Ability to meet physical requirements to bend, stretch, kneel, stoop, twist, reach overhead, climb ladders and lift 50 pounds unassisted.
Pay:
$26.00 - $32.00 per hour
