If this sounds like a culture you would like to work in, you're invited to apply for this role. ## Job Description ### Summary Assists technicians with general maintenance work on a variety of facilities equipment and systems. ### Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
  • Assists with general maintenance work to develop maintenance skillset.
  • Assist mechanics with preventive maintenance (PM's) and client/proactive work orders.
  • Performs general housekeeping duties in the work areas and shop.
  • Complies with all Fluor Corporation safety requirements and programs. Education & Experience
Education:
must be enrolled in applicable degree program at RCTC and be eligible for Employer Co-op opportunities
  • Ability to complete heavy physical labor (pushing, pulling, lifting objects up to 50 lbs.)
  • Have basic knowledge of air compressors, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, plumbing, chilled water, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and equipment.
  • Have basic knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical equipment and tools
  • Appropriate communication skills
  • Ability to interface with customers as needed
