H Gustafson Company was established in 1968 and is a locally owned and managed real estate management firm. We are looking for a full-time Caretaker for our luxury apartment community in the Highland Park area. We are seeking an experienced, career-oriented individual who is interested in living on-site in a three-bedroom home adjacent to the property. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).

Assist with maintenance duties as needed. Deliver packages Grounds keeping Responsibilities Apartment Turnover Duties Clean all vacant apartments. Wash windows. Sweep and mop tile floors. Pick up trash. Clean appliances. Clean light fixture globes. Clean patios and balconies. Vacuum carpets after cleaning. Other Duties Clean all hallways. Clean all common areas. Clean washers and dryers. Clean all parking areas. Clean all sidewalks and stairwells. Clean the on-site management office. Assist with inventory control of janitorial equipment and supplies. Assist with emergency maintenance as needed. Relationships Report to the Property Manager . Maintain positive working relationships with other staff members, working most closely with the maintenance team. Maintain professional relationships with any contract laborers working on the property. Maintain courteous relationships with current and prospective residents. Requirements Previous caretaking experience minimum one year. Ability to work well with a wide range of people. Demonstrates mechanical aptitude Strong commitment to maintaining safe work practice Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
