Kamp Dels is a family-owned campground resort on Lake Sakatah in Waterville, MN. We have been here since 1955

• three generations of the same family.

We are hiring a laborer to work alongside our crew on closedown, projects, and everything it takes to keep the place running.

WHAT THIS JOB IS

This is a laborer position. You are the hands on the crew. You will not be running the job

• you will be doing the work. Hauling, digging, demo, cleanup, painting, and building it back. Real examples straight off our current work list:
• Pulling docks and lake equipment out of the water
• Putting picnic tables, fire rings, pool chairs and umbrellas away for winter
• Shutting down the pool, shutting water off, winterizing buildings
• Rebuilding docks, redoing the tennis court, building a new mini golf hole
• Retaining walls, concrete work, split rail fence, site markers
• Painting
• playgrounds, offices, buildings, pool slides
• Shingling, siding, roll-up doors, cabin remodel work
• Tree trimming, woods clearing, hauling sand Some days it is heavy outside work.

Some days it is inside project work. It changes day to day, and you go where the crew needs you.

THE SEASON

• Fall
• putting the place to bed for winter
• Spring
• getting it all back open before guests arrive April 1
• Summer
• keeping it running and fixing what breaks You will be outside most of the time, in whatever weather Minnesota gives us.

SCHEDULE

• Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
• 40 hours per week
• Some weekends during the summer season

SEASONAL POSITION

Work runs April through late fall, with a seasonal layoff over the winter. Winter work is not guaranteed. We are looking for someone who comes back year after year. PAY $20.00 per hour.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Someone who does not mind hard work and long days on their feet
• Likes working with their hands and being outside
• Shows up on time, every day
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Able to lift 50-75 lbs repeatedly and work on ladders and uneven ground
• 18 or older and able to pass a background check
• No construction experience required.

We will train the right person. Work ethic matters more than a resume.
