Job Description
The City of Waverly is seeking a Parks Maintenance Worker to help maintain parks, public facilities, streets, and utility systems. This full-time, benefits-eligible position performs a variety of hands-on maintenance duties, including mowing, landscaping, facility upkeep, snow removal, equipment operation, beach maintenance, street repairs, and assisting with water and sewer system maintenance. The position also participates in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies. Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid Class B CDL. Candidates must be able to obtain a Class D Water License and Class SD Sewer Collection License within one year of employment. Experience in public works, utilities, parks maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
