This position would primarily work the Day Shift. The Semi- Skilled Maintenance position requires a self-starter with the ability to understand how to repair equipment and manage time wisely. Repair work is of a varied nature, requiring some knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, mechanical repairs and floor maintenance. This position will require lawn grooming and keeping outside area insect free. Knowledge of schematics and blueprints is desirable.

Education:

High School graduate/GED preferred. Good use of vocabulary, math and communicating skills.

Experience and Training:

Must have general knowledge of air conditioning and steam generation, as well as plumbing, electrical and mechanical repairs and floor maintenance. Previous experience in maintenance at hospital or other institution desirable.
