Clarendale Clayton is recruiting for a hospitality-focused Maintenance Assistant to join our team! This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the community's public areas while providing operational, maintenance, and resident support services to ensure an exceptional living experience for residents and guests.
Salary:
Starting at $20.00/hour
Schedule:
Full-time 2:30pm-11:00pm, some weekends required

Maintenance Assistant:
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, fitness areas, meeting rooms, offices, laundry rooms, storage rooms, and outdoor spaces. Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, clean glass and mirrors, remove trash and recycling, and ensure all areas meet community cleanliness standards. Clean, sanitize, and restock public restrooms and common areas. Assist with apartment turnovers, guest suite cleaning, and scheduled deep cleaning projects. Support housekeeping and operations teams with room setups, furniture moves, special projects, and community events. Perform basic maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, unclogging toilets, changing air filters, minor painting touch-ups, and reporting maintenance concerns. Assist with community safety initiatives and provide security support when needed. Respond promptly and professionally to resident, guest, and team member requests. Maintain a positive, hospitality-focused approach while supporting a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Six months to one year of experience in housekeeping, janitorial, facilities, maintenance, or a related field preferred.
