Job Duties and Responsibilities Executes preventative maintenance schedules to extend the lifespan of critical building assets and equipment. Diagnoses and resolves complex electrical troubleshooting issues to ensure safe power distribution across the facility. Repairs and maintains commercial plumbing systems, fixtures, and piping networks to prevent disruptions. Services and monitors HVAC systems to maintain optimal indoor air quality and temperature control. Performs skilled carpentry tasks to build, repair, and install wooden structures and fixtures. Utilizes various hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete diverse repair projects. Completes professional drywall repair and painting to maintain clean, attractive interior spaces. Manages work order management systems efficiently to prioritize tasks and update project statuses in real-time. Adheres strictly to OSHA safety standards to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and others. Required Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent certificate. Technical training or certification in a related trade is a strong plus. Experience Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in general building maintenance or a related trade. Demonstrated history of working independently and managing multiple repair tasks simultaneously. Knowledge/Skills Strong proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system diagnostics. Effective communication skills for interacting with staff and reporting maintenance issues. Preferred Qualifications Valid trade license in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC. Prior experience working within a commercial or industrial facility setting. Physical Requirements/Work Conditions Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Comfort working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions. Availability to respond to after-hours emergency maintenance calls when needed.
