MAINTENANCE

LEVEL 1 QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to perform general grounds keeping and light maintenance tasks. Ability to operate required equipment including tractor, loader and mowers. Ability to work independently. Basic computer skills � Send and receive email, use district HR program.

JOB GOAL

To perform general grounds keeping and light maintenance functions

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains school grounds in attractive, clean and safe condition. Complete work orders as assigned. Assist Maintenance Level 2 and 3 employees in maintaining district facilities. Ensure all safety procedures are followed by all employees. Performs other tasks as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders & use lifts to work on equipment. Ability to work in confined spaces for lengthy periods of time. Repeated turning/twisting motions. Repeated movements to and from the floor; standing and walking up to 8 hours.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

12 months as per school board policy
