Duties Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance. Repair and troubleshoot electrical equipment, plumbing systems, HVAC units, and building interior components using schematics, hand tools, and electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters. Perform carpentry tasks including maintenance painting, drywall repairs, door adjustments, and other building interior maintenance activities. Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for building automation systems and manage facilities equipment maintenance to improve efficiency. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used in accordance with MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) procedures. Support customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or guests to resolve issues efficiently. Follow schematics and technical manuals to diagnose problems accurately and execute repairs effectively. Assist in plumbing system maintenance to uphold building integrity. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role within the hospitality or residential sector. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, electrical equipment repair tools, and plumbing tools. Familiarity with HVAC system repair including troubleshooting thermostats, compressors, fans, filters, and ductwork. Knowledge of electrical work including wiring, circuit breakers, schematics interpretation, and electrical safety standards. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable. Ability to read technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately. Excellent communication skills in English to effectively collaborate with team members and support guest satisfaction. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
