Job Description
The General Mechanic completes assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs.
Pay:
$21.00 per hour. The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.Shift:
Monday - Friday from 8:00AM - 4:30PM EST Benefits:

91E, 91C, EM, HT, MK, DC, 1161, 1341, 3E1X1- Proficient in Basic General Maintenance Duties
- Solid knowledge and skill in the safe use of hand and power tools and other materials required to perform repair and maintenance tasks.
- Complete assigned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs.
- Use the CMMS program in support of work performance. Foster a work environment that promotes energy conservation and continuous improvement of engineering functions.
- Perform basic routine MEP repairs
- Assist with surface preparation and painting, minor drywall, and wood trim repair
- Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
- Assists in emergencies as needed.
- Returns all work areas to a clean, neat, orderly, and safe condition.
