Job Description

The General Mechanic completes assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs.
Pay:
$21.00 per hour. The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
Shift:
Monday - Friday from 8:00AM - 4:30

  • Proficient in Basic General Maintenance Duties
  • Solid knowledge and skill in the safe use of hand and power tools and other materials required to perform repair and maintenance tasks.
  • Complete assigned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs.
  • Use the CMMS program in support of work performance. Foster a work environment that promotes energy conservation and continuous improvement of engineering functions.
  • Perform basic routine MEP repairs
  • Assist with surface preparation and painting, minor drywall, and wood trim repair
  • Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
  • Assists in emergencies as needed.
  • Returns all work areas to a clean, neat, orderly, and safe condition.
Work directly with our clients, engineering leadership, and vendors to keep the building operational. Perform ongoing facility maintenance and complete repairs on various equipment. Perform minor repairs to Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP's) equipment. Ensure client satisfaction.
