Duties Perform routine maintenance on buildings, grounds, and outdoor facilities to ensure safety and functionality. Conduct landscape maintenance including mowing, lawn care, tree trimming, pruning, and gardening to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal. Operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other construction equipment safely and efficiently for landscaping or repair projects. Maintain hardscape features such as pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures. Manage irrigation systems, snow plowing operations, and seasonal landscaping tasks to adapt to weather conditions. Assist with tree care activities including planting, trimming, removal, and hazard assessment. Support general maintenance activities such as fixing fixtures, repairing fences, installing new features, and ensuring all equipment functions properly. Qualifications Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools and power tools for maintenance or construction tasks. Knowledge of lawn care practices including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and weed control. Experience in landscape maintenance or landscaping projects with an understanding of horticulture principles. Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators or similar equipment safely. Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and repair is preferred. Strong skills in gardening techniques and outdoor beautification projects. Ability to perform snow plowing duties during winter months efficiently. Excellent physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to collaborate effectively with colleagues on diverse projects.
