Job Description

Job Summary The Maintenance Clerk plays a vital role in supporting the maintenance department by providing exceptional customer service, coordinating scheduling, and supply mangement. This position ensures smooth communication between maintenance staff and other departments, facilitating efficient operations. The Maintenance Clerk is responsible for organizing work schedules, processing procurement requests, and assisting with various administrative tasks to maintain the overall effectiveness of the maintenance team. Responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for vendors, delivering excellent customer service. Assist in scheduling maintenance activities and coordinating work orders to ensure timely completion of tasks. Manage purchasing processes, tracking orders, and maintaining accurate records of supplies and equipment. Communicate effectively with maintenance personnel to facilitate smooth workflow and address any scheduling or resource needs. Maintain organized documentation related to maintenance activities, and scheduling. Support administrative functions such as data entry, report generation, and inventory management related to maintenance operations. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and ensure compliance with safety standards. Experience Prior experience in administrative support or clerical roles within a maintenance or facilities environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Proficiency in property management or related software is advantageous. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting while maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
