AAA Storage has an opening for a Facilities Maintenance Assistant. This is a part time position (10-15 hours per week). This pay for this position is $20-$23 per hour DOE. The Facilities Assistant is responsible for maintaining the buildings and all outdoor areas of this property in a safe and attractive condition and assist in other types of maintenance.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Must have a working knowledge of building maintenance to inspect and make minor necessary repairs to buildings, gutters and doors. Ability to perform full facility inspections at both of our locations which include cleaning of empty units, disposal of abandoned property and trash, groundskeeping, and snow removal with a 4-wheeler. Physical ability to perform such tasks as sweeping, shoveling, lifting, climbing ladders, and lock removals. Be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of the following tools: hand tools, grips, hammer, grinder, bolt cutters, drill, etc. Ability to work independently and a willingness to learn. Must be able to speak to renters and maintain good working relations with staff as well as any contractors that may be on-site. Good safety habits and a valid driver's license. Perform other duties as assigned.
