Maintenance Technician Location:

Old Sawmill District, Missoula, MT Position:

Full-Time (40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, with flexibility for emergency calls and weekend work as needed). Pay DOE, includes full-time benefits package.

Overview:

OSD Property Management is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Old Sawmill District. This role is responsible for ensuring the overall functionality, safety, and cleanliness of residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property maintenance and a proactive approach to resolving maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Property Maintenance:

Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical fixtures, and appliances.

Repairs:

Address work orders for minor repairs, including drywall, painting, and carpentry, ensuring all tasks meet company and safety standards.

Groundskeeping:

Assist with landscaping, lawn care, and snow removal as needed.

Emergency Response:

Respond to urgent maintenance requests and be available for on-call rotations outside of standard business hours.

Inventory Management:

Track and maintain supplies, tools, and equipment necessary for daily operations.

Communication:

Utilize AppFolio software to receive, update, and close out maintenance work orders.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the Maintenance and Groundskeeping Lead and other Property Management staff to support special projects and event preparations.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in property maintenance, repair work, and general facilities management. , plumbing, electrical systems, and appliance repair. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management and organizational abilities. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various weather conditions. Familiarity with property management software (AppFolio preferred) or willingness to learn. Valid driver's license. Ability to pass a background check, and drug test.
