CARBON COUNTY ROAD & BRIDGE DEPARTMENT POSITION
Permanent, Full-Time Road Maintenance Worker, equipment operator, and truck driver at the Bridger Road Shop.QUALIFICATIONS
Must have road maintenance and construction experience or similar experience. Should be able to operate and maintain road maintenance equipment. Must have a Montana Class A Commercial Driver's License with Medical Examiner's Certificate, and a good driving record.JOB DESCRIPTION
Operation and maintenance of trucks and heavy equipment such as backhoe, motor grader, loader and scraper in the performance of road construction and maintenance. Manual labor involving use of hand tools installing culverts and bridge repair. Applicants must be able to occasionally lift loads of up to 100 lbs. Requires ability to lift, climb, bend, repetitive motions, and good vision and hearing. The 1st review of applications will be of those received by Thursday, October 1, 2026, by 5:00pm MST. Interviews will be arranged after review of applications. Position will remain open until filled. Employment is contingent on successful completion of a background check and pre-employment drug screening. Qualified applicants will remain in a hiring pool for a maximum of 12 months.
