The Town of Boone Public Works Department is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Maintenance Worker in the Landscape Division. Performs intermediate semiskilled and skilled work in a variety of installation, maintenance and repair projects; operates equipment in connection with tasks; does related work as required. Work is performed under regular supervision.

Education and Experience:

Any combination of experience equivalent to graduation from high school and some maintenance and/or construction experience.

Special Requirements:

Possession of an appropriate driver's license valid in the State of North Carolina. May require pesticide/herbicide certification.

Salary:

$45,782 Employee will serve a six-month probation. Town of Boone is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
