Overview Rental Home Make-Ready Assistant We will train the right person for this job. This entry-level position is an opportunity to develop hands-on skills in property maintenance and repair, with training provided. You prepare rental homes for new tenants by performing a variety of maintenance tasks to meet quality standards. Good for someone who enjoys working with their hands, is willing to learn, and wants to develop practical home repair and maintenance skills. Duties Cleaning, painting, and basic repairs to prepare rental units for occupancy Use hand tools to perform maintenance tasks. Personal tools appreciated but not required at this stage. Replace hardware and fixtures Collaborate with team members to complete maintenance painting, carpentry, yard work, clean up and clean out and other repair activities efficiently Requirements Reliable personal transportation an eagerness to learn new skills in facilities maintenance Familiarity with hand tools is a plus but not required—training will be provided Strong communication skills to understand instructions and document work accurately Ability to follow safety procedures and work diligently in various environments Dependable and shows up for work When applying, tell us a little about your previous work experience, any hands-on skills you may have.
