Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Assistant to support the plant maintenance team with ongoing projects and daily repair tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic mechanical knowledge who is eager to learn and grow within an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist maintenance technicians with equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, and general upkeep. Help troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues on production machinery. Perform basic mechanical tasks such as using hand and power tools, tightening bolts, replacing parts, and cleaning machinery. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety procedures and instructions from lead technicians and supervisors. Support special projects and facility maintenance as needed.

Qualifications:

Basic mechanical aptitude or previous hands-on experience working with tools or equipment. Willingness to learn, take instruction, and work as part of a team. Dependable, positive attitude, and safety-minded. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Previous maintenance or manufacturing experience a plus.

Pay:

$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
