Job Description

Carolina Stalite Company is seeking a skilled Construction and Industrial Maintenance worker to join our team. This role involves performing maintenance work of routine difficulty and related work as assigned under limited supervision. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, welding experience, and a commitment to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general construct6ion and maintenance tasks of routine difficulty. Inspect, troubleshoot and repair equipment and facilities, as well as accurately construct or build projects as needed. Inform management of necessary building repairs and emergencies that are outside the scope of routine maintenance. Prepare the job site for re-opening. Track schedules showing when maintenance was performed and when next service is due. Collaborate with team members and travel to other plant sites as needed. Operate tools and machinery safely and efficiently. Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, cranes, backhoes, and graders. (Training will be provided if necessary.) Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Welding experience required. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Self-starter to meet productions goals with little supervision. Excellent attention to detail and decision-making skills. Knowledge of general safety rules and regulations.
Job Shifts:
Monday through Friday, 5AM-3PM (approximately 50 hours per week) based on production needs. Weekends are required as needed.
Pay:
$20-22/hour based on experience.

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
