Pay:
23.00 to 33.00 (plus $2.50 shift premium)Hours:
7pm to 7am 2 nights on, 2 nights off, 3 nights on 2 nights off 2 nights on 3 nights off What is the job: As a Maintenance Associate with Avient, you are responsible for completing maintenance assignments to build, repair and/or maintain all equipment in good operating condition as quickly and accurately as possible, while keeping associated costs to a minimum to help meet Plant goals. To be successful in this role you should be multi-skilled and able to contribute to plant maintenance activities in a variety of craft disciplines. - Maintain clean and organized maintenance areas, including the shop, office, lubrication area, and inventory spaces.
- Follow all environmental rules and report any hazards to your supervisor or onsite EH&S.
- Support the company and facility vision, mission, and guiding principles.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and on time, including labor hours, parts usage, root cause analysis, repair details, and preventive maintenance records.
- Perform all assigned preventive maintenance tasks thoroughly and on schedule to reduce equipment downtime.
- Build detailed equipment history by documenting all maintenance activities not already captured through existing work orders.
- Assist with maintaining an accurate maintenance inventory, including completing cycle counts.
- Research needed equipment, tools, and parts; notify the maintenance supervisor or lead when items are unavailable.
- Communicate effectively with production operators, production supervisors, maintenance managers/supervisors, schedulers, oth.
