This position does not directly manage or supervisor others. Position Summary This position will assist the maintenance department in pulling parts from inventory and delivering as needed throughout the greenhouse facility. Key Responsibilities Deliver equipment parts throughout the facility Load and unload trailer truck when needed Work closely with the department team to services equipment as needed Replenish inventory items when pulled Assist in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment Complete all paperwork associated with equipment maintenance and safety Operate forklift, scissor lift, and one-man lift Use hand and power tools properly when needed Other duties as assigned by management Minimum Qualifications 1 year forklift experience Comfortable occasionally working in heights above 6ft Basic computer skills Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of common hand tools and power tools. Some knowledge of plumbing fittings and correct terminology. Common knowledge or experience with general automotive service. Job Setting & Physical Demands This position is primarily outdoors but may be required to work between locations and within an indoor office environment for administrative duties, which may require the use of computers and standard office equipment. Fluency to read, write, and understand the English language is required. Must be able to work in all outdoor elements, including various weather conditions and with dust and allergens. Position requires long-term (up to 8+hours/day) ability for standing, sitting, squatting, bending, reaching, and twisting on a regular basis to fulfill essential duties. Position also requires utilization of fine motor skills, including but not limited to pinching, squeezing, and pulling. Candidate must have the ability to operate all machinery necessary within the department and across the facility, including the ability to obtain required certifications to operate such equipment as necessary. Candidate also must have the ability to work at heights over 6 (six) feet. Candidate must be able to utilize and communicate via a 2-way radio Candidate must be able to work evenings and weekends as business needs arise and during peak seasons. Employee must have the ability to lift 35 pounds unaided, and regularly lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
