Job Description
Apartment Maintenance Technician Ashley Park Apartments is looking for a dependable, hardworking Maintenance Technician to join our team. We are seeking someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. Whether you have maintenance experience or are a mechanically inclined individual looking to build a career in property maintenance, we'd love to hear from you. This is a full-time, hands-on position responsible for helping maintain apartment homes, common areas, and the overall appearance of our community. Responsibilities Complete routine maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner. Assist with preparing apartments for new residents, including repairs and cleaning. Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and appliance repairs. Replace light fixtures, ballasts, switches, outlets, locks, and other hardware. Help maintain the grounds and common areas of the property. Troubleshoot maintenance issues and assist with larger repair projects. Respond to emergency maintenance calls when necessary. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Qualifications Previous maintenance, construction, landscaping, automotive, or handyman experience is a plus, but not required . Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn new skills. Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely. Dependable with excellent attendance and a strong work ethic. Friendly and professional when interacting with residents. Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening. Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work, including climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Schedule Full-time Monday through Friday Occasional after-hours emergency calls may be required. Pay $13.00-$15.00 per hour , depending on experience. Why Join Our Team?
