Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to join our facilities management team. This Position performs administrative duties for the maintenance department and assists with data entry of production metrics. Duties Maintain parts and supplies by checking stock to determine inventory level Set up, update, and otherwise manage maintenance inventory data in Epicor, including issuing parts to jobs. Organize inventory locations to enhance convenience for maintenance techs Label part locations as needed Ensure returned inventory items are restocked properly. Maintain inventory accuracy by performing monthly cycle counting. Assist with maintenance requisitions and verify that parts ordered match parts received Planning medium to large preventative maintenance projects or special projects Help coordinate shutdowns for overhauls Assist with capital projects, including planning and obtaining/organizing quotes Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Proficiency in MS Office Good verbal and written communication skills Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Must be a self-starter, proactive, flexible, and deadline-focused
