Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and energetic Maintenance Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the functionality, safety, and appearance of our hotel facilities. Your expertise will help ensure that our property remains in excellent condition, providing a comfortable environment for guests and staff alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance skills in a dynamic hospitality setting. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and maintenance of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct repairs involving welding, residential painting, and other handyman tasks to uphold the property's appearance and safety standards. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently. Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to identify problems and implement solutions effectively. Manage work orders using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track maintenance activities and ensure timely completion. Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, including supervising team members when necessary. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests or staff, providing excellent customer service while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related fields within hospitality, manufacturing, or residential settings. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform welding, electrical repairs, and plumbing work. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical systems diagnostics. Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately. Experience with CMMS software for maintenance tracking is preferred. Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate effectively with team members and vendors. Supervising experience is a plus; leadership qualities are highly valued. Knowledge of residential painting techniques and general facilities upkeep is desirable. Ability to use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters confidently for electrical troubleshooting.
