Full Job Description Overview:

We are a growing short-term rental management company seeking a Field Operations and Maintenance Assistant to help manage the day-to-day needs of our portfolio of Airbnb properties throughout Omaha. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the move, solving problems, and working hands-on with properties. You will be responsible for ensuring our homes are always guest-ready by completing tasks at different properties throughout the city. No two days are the same, and the ability to think critically, communicate clearly, and handle maintenance issues is essential.

Responsibilities:

Travel daily to multiple short-term rental properties throughout Omaha Complete operational tasks such as: Taking trash bins to and from the curb Repairs and maintenance Restocking supplies Checking on hot tubs and assisting with issues Troubleshooting issues that arise at properties Communicate property needs, issues, and updates to the operations team Coordinate with cleaners, maintenance vendors, and delivery services when needed Pick up and deliver supplies or equipment to properties Ensure homes meet company quality standards before guest arrivals Document completed tasks using company apps and internal systems Respond quickly and professionally to operational issues

Requirements:

Prior maintenance, handyman, or property management experience preferred Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Excellent communication skills Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Comfortable driving to multiple locations daily Ability to lift up to 40 lbs Smartphone proficiency (Slack, task management apps, etc.) Highly organized and dependable Ideal Candidate Hands-on and resourceful Enjoys solving problems and fixing things Comfortable working independently in the field Takes pride in maintaining beautiful homes Detail-oriented and proactive Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Gas allowance Opportunity to grow within a fast-growing short-term rental company Flexible and dynamic work environment
