Job Description

Legacy Coop in Scottsbluff is looking for a
CUSTOM APPLICATOR
with a Class A CDL, in our Agronomy Division. The custom applicator assists the crop production division by delivering fertilizer and providing maintenance to equipment and facilities. This
FULL TIME

TASKS INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO
Pulls trailers loaded with fertilizer using single-axle or semi-truck Loads and unloads fertilizer and chemicals Operates forklift to assist in loading and unloading product Performs general maintenance on fertilizer equipment and completes improvements as needed on fertilizer facilities Follows all governmental and company safety regulations concerning handling of fertilizer and agricultural chemicals Assists with taking inventory, stocking equipment parts and general housekeeping in shop, warehouse and plant facilities All other duties assigned by division, location, or operations manager
QUALIFICATIONS
​ To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to complete the required job functions. .
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSE, REGISTRATIONS
Prefer valid Commercial Drivers License with Class A. Prefer experience in operating forklifts and loaders.
EDUCATION
One-to-three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
TECHNOLOGY AND TOOLS
Ability to use advanced mechanical equipment and tools. SKILLS Customer service; judgment and decision-making, equipment selection and maintenance, troubleshooting, active listening and learning, time management.
WORK ACTIVITIES
Work activities performed on the job include physically loading and unloading product, operating vehicles or equipment; updating and using relevant knowledge; documenting and recording information; repairing and maintaining mechanical equipment; inspecting equipment and materials; making decisions and solving problems; and communicating with coworkers and customers
