In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of our environment through effective maintenance practices. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, sanitary, and welcoming space for staff and visitors alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in facilities upkeep, cleaning, and minor repairs while contributing to a well-maintained environment that supports operational excellence. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to uphold high standards of sanitation and cleanliness. Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and scrubbers to maintain floors and surfaces in optimal condition. Handle chemical agents safely during cleaning processes, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety procedures. Assist with custodial responsibilities related to industrial cleaning and commercial facility maintenance. Support facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs, painting (including residential painting), and equipment upkeep. Follow safety protocols diligently during heavy lifting or manual handling tasks to prevent injuries and ensure safe lifting practices are maintained. Requirements Experience handling chemical agents safely with awareness of chemical handling safety procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks while maintaining safe lifting practices. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and visitors. Familiarity with sanitation practices, industrial cleaning techniques, and facilities maintenance routines. Prior maintenance experience preferred; certifications in safety protocols or chemical handling are a plus. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while adhering to safety guidelines. Perform preventive maintenance to Guest Rooms.
