Job Description
The Facilities & Equipment Support position is responsible for helping maintain a clean, safe, organized, and efficient workplace. This role provides day-to-day support through the maintenance and organization of company tools and equipment, light shipping and receiving duties, and routine facility and janitorial tasks. Primary Responsibilities Maintain, organize, and track company tools and equipment. Perform routine inspections of tools and equipment and identify items requiring repair, replacement, or service. Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs when appropriate. Keep tool, equipment, storage, and work areas clean and organized. Assist with light shipping and receiving, including accepting deliveries, preparing outgoing shipments, and distributing incoming materials. Maintain shipping supplies and general facility supplies. Perform daily janitorial duties, including sweeping, trash removal, cleaning common areas, restrooms, and other routine housekeeping. Assist with general facility upkeep and minor maintenance needs. Help maintain a safe workplace by identifying and reporting unsafe conditions or damaged equipment. Assist employees with locating, moving, or preparing tools, equipment, and materials as needed. Perform other general facility and operational support duties as assigned. Qualifications Dependable, organized, and able to work independently. Comfortable performing a combination of hands-on, maintenance, shipping, and cleaning responsibilities. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools preferred. Ability to safely lift and move materials and equipment. Ability to prioritize routine responsibilities while responding to day-to-day operational needs.
