Property Management Assistant Emlin Group - 5.0 Jersey City, NJ Job Details Full-time 1 hour ago Benefits 401(k) Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description Key Responsibilities Support three Property Managers with daily maintenance operations and administrative functions. Schedule and coordinate daily assignments for a team of 10 Maintenance Technicians under the direction of the Senior Property Manager. Coordinate access with residents and tenants for maintenance work and vendor visits. Serve as a primary point of contact for vendors, contractors, residents, and internal staff. Create and manage work orders and purchase orders in AppFolio. Monitor, update, and track the status of maintenance work orders. Record labor hours worked by Maintenance Technicians by property within AppFolio. Prepare monthly payroll billback schedules and related reporting using Excel. Order supplies and inventory for Superintendents and maintenance staff. Occasionally visit properties to provide vendor access and assist with operational needs. Assist with project coordination, budgeting support, and maintenance-related financial reporting. Qualifications Prior experience in property management, maintenance coordination, facilities administration, resident services, or a related field. Understanding of project management principles and financial reporting. Experience scheduling repairs and coordinating maintenance operations. Basic construction knowledge and familiarity with building maintenance processes. Familiarity with apartment rentals and multifamily housing operations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience using property management software; AppFolio experience is a strong plus. Exceptional organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to work effectively with residents, vendors, contractors, and internal teams. Bilingual skills are a plus.
