This role plays a key part in maintaining a safe, clean, and well functioning environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate is hands on, dependable, and takes pride in ensuring our facility is well cared for and running smoothly. Located at 100 Mc Clellan St, Norwood, NJ 07648
Maintenance Assistant Benefits:

Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities:
Assist with general maintenance: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry Complete repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment and building systems Respond to work orders and maintenance requests from staff Help maintain clean and safe common areas, resident rooms, and outdoor spaces Support seasonal tasks like snow removal and landscaping Monitor supplies and tools, and report any hazards or needed repairs Help with room setups, furniture moves, and facility inspections Always follow safety and infection control protocols
Maintenance Assistant Requirements:
Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long term care. High school diploma or equivalent. Basic maintenance knowledge of tools and building systems.
