$20/hr Employment type: Temp-to-Hire Job summary: Our client in Paulsboro, NJ, is seeking a Facility Assistant to join their team. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity offering $20/hr. This position has a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8AM-4:30PM The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing routine cleaning, minor repairs, facility improvements, and other hands-on tasks throughout the building. Key Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility, including sweeping, collecting cardboard, and general housekeeping duties. Break down and dispose of corrugated materials and recycling as needed. Assist with minor maintenance projects such as painting, hanging pictures, hanging mirrors, and placing floor markers/signage. Perform basic facility repairs and upkeep tasks using company-provided tools. Conduct routine inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns. Assist with inventory audits and replenishment of maintenance and cleaning supplies. Support the overall appearance, functionality, and safety of the facility. Work collaboratively with other departments to complete facility-related projects and requests. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous facility maintenance, building maintenance, janitorial, or general labor experience required. Basic maintenance skills such as painting, minor repairs, and general upkeep. Comfortable using hand tools and working on ladders. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workplace. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Interested?
