Now Hiring a Part Time Maintenance Assistant at Family of Caring at Tenafly. We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment to ensure smooth operations.

Maintenance Assistant Requirements:

Experience in simple plumbing, electrical, and painting jobs is required MUST be able to communicate in English proficiently. Previous experience in facilities maintenance preferred Familiarity with Ohmmeter usage for electrical diagnostics Strong leadership skills to guide maintenance tasks effectively Ability to interpret schematics and work with logic controllers

Maintenance Assistant Duties:

Overall plant operations, including interior and exterior maintenance Electrical/plumbing work Light construction Appliance installation Drywall patch/paint Coordinate scheduled service from outside vendors Weld and fabricate metal structures as needed Utilize Ohmmeter for electrical testing Provide leadership in executing maintenance tasks Conduct facilities maintenance including repairs and inspections Interpret schematics and work with logic controllers Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills will be valued.
