Join Our Team Casa Arena Healthcare is seeking a dependable and motivated Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The Maintenance Assistant will work closely with the Maintenance Director to help keep our facility safe, clean, functional, and well maintained for our residents, employees, and visitors. We are looking for someone who is hands-on, reliable, and willing to help wherever needed. If you have general maintenance or handyman experience and take pride in your work, we would love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Assist with general maintenance and repairs throughout the facility Complete routine work orders in a timely manner Perform minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairs Assist with preventative maintenance of facility equipment and building systems Inspect resident rooms and common areas for maintenance needs Assist with maintaining the building, grounds, and exterior areas Help with moving furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed Assist with room preparation and repairs Identify safety or maintenance concerns and report them promptly Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance work areas Assist outside vendors and contractors when needed Support fire safety, emergency preparedness, and facility inspections Respond to urgent maintenance needs as directed Perform other maintenance duties as assigned by the Maintenance Director or Administrator Qualifications General maintenance, handyman, construction, or facilities experience preferred Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairs preferred Healthcare or skilled nursing facility experience is a plus, but not required Ability to troubleshoot basic maintenance problems Ability to use common hand and power tools safely Dependable with strong attendance and follow-through Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and organizational skills Willingness to learn and take direction Ability to perform the physical duties associated with a maintenance position What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, notices when something needs attention, and gets the job done.
