Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Maintain cleanliness of front lobby, entrance doors and other heavy traffic areas throughout the shiftEmpty all exterior and interior trash receptacles in all common areas, including office areasSweep exterior entrances and walkways, maintain trash receptacles, planter gardens, and ash urnsCheck parking lot and surrounding areas for trash and other out of place itemsSweep and mop all interior common flooring areas of the hotelVacuum all interior common carpet areas, including hallways, stairways and welcome matsDust all items in common areas, including shelving and artworkClean all public restrooms including pool area and employee restrooms, if applicableClean and maintain fitness room, including stocking towels, water and cup dispenser and removal of dirty towelsClean and maintain pool and whirlpool area, including stocking pool towels and removal of dirty towelsClean guest laundry facility and maintain equipment, such as cleaning lint traps and wash tubsClean meeting rooms as neededClean breakfast area as neededFill out work orders for general maintenance repairs as needed. Report any damage or missing hotel items to Housekeeping Manager immediatelyAssess and complete any basic maintenance repairs as neededFollow all OSHA regulations and Company policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environmentAssist Guest Room and Laundry Attendants as neededFollow all policies and procedures for guest, employee and hotel safetyTake care of hotel property; avoid scraping walls when pushing carts through hallways, slamming of doors, and other movements that may cause property damageStay current with all Hampton brand training programsComply with all Hampton brand standards

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not requiredOperate shuttle van to and from Elko Regional Airport and other Elko areas as neededValid Nevada driver's license with 3 years acceptable driving recordAbility to read, analyze and interpret OSHA required Safety Data Sheets (SDS)City, County, and State work cards as required.
