Job Description
Under general supervision, performs a variety of basic and routine custodial and maintenance tasks involving the cleaning, maintenance, and repair of county buildings, facilities, equipment, and adjoining premises.
This is an entry-level position in the facilities maintenance worker series. Work is performed with and without immediate supervision in assigned areas and may involve working around other county staff and the public, depending upon assignments. This class performs a variety of custodial and facility maintenance duties that require basic knowledge and skills related to the position. Possess and maintain a valid Nevada Driver License appropriate for vehicles and other equipment operated. The ability to pass a criminal background investigation. Any combination of training, education, and experience that would provide the required knowledge and abilities. A typical way to gain the required knowledge and ability is possession of a high school diploma or equivalency.
