Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Temporary position/possibly to a permanent position. Maintains hotel facility, grounds, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Ability to perform light plumbing, electrical, and general repairs. Performs snow removal, and completes special projects as assigned. Must be dependable, and detail oriented. Days of the week scheduled may vary based on hotel needs; including weekends.SKILL AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
(MINIMUM): High school graduate or GED. Must be able to read, write and speak the English language to perform duties. Must possess basic math skills, and be computer literate in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Searches. Minimum of (1) one to (2) two years of institutional setting; building and maintenance experience required, with prior hospitality experience preferred.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
(TECHNICAL/PHYSICAL): Valid (unblemished) NY State driver's license desired to Courier as needed. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions. Have a working knowledge of heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills, and other general maintenance areas. Ability to use various power tools. Experience working with a preventative maintenance program required.Scheduled hours will be:
9am - 5:30pm and 10am-6:30pm Days scheduled will be: Tuesday through Saturday, and require flexibility as needed. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities, including electrical systems and plumbing. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. Operate power tools and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities . Assist in painting and carpentry tasks as needed, ensuring high-quality workmanship. Collaborate with Department Manager and team members to prioritize and complete maintenance projects efficiently.Job Type:
