Up to $22.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications) Job Overview We are a well-established local construction and property management company seeking a reliable, motivated Property Cleaning & Turnover Professional to join our properties division. We manage approximately 200 rental units throughout the area, and this position plays an important role in keeping our apartments, common areas, and properties clean, presentable, and ready for our residents. The primary responsibility of this position is preparing apartments for new tenants following a move-out. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, and is comfortable performing both cleaning and basic property maintenance tasks. This is a hands-on position that requires someone who can work independently, stay organized, and adapt to changing priorities. Key Responsibilities Thoroughly clean and prepare apartments following tenant move-outs Deep clean kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, floors, windows, walls, doors, baseboards, and other areas as needed Remove trash, debris, and unwanted items from vacant apartments Clean and maintain common areas, including hallways, stairways, entrances, laundry rooms, and community spaces Prepare apartments for new tenants, including final cleaning and general touch-ups Perform light painting and wall touch-ups Hang and replace blinds, lightbulbs, and other basic fixtures Assist with minor maintenance and apartment preparation tasks Clean up after maintenance projects and contractors Assist with property-wide cleanup, seasonal cleanup, and special projects as needed Identify and report maintenance issues, damage, or items requiring additional repair Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environments Help ensure apartments and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness and appearance Follow schedules, instructions, and safety protocols Work both independently and as part of a team Provide additional property maintenance and cleanup support as needed Qualifications Previous experience in residential cleaning, commercial cleaning, housekeeping, property maintenance, construction, or a related field preferred Experience with painting, basic handyman work, or apartment turnover is a plus Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Ability to multitask and stay on task Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality is a must Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday Ability to work in vacant apartments, common areas, and various property environments Must have reliable transportation Valid NY State Driver's License Ability and willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities Professional and respectful interaction with residents, coworkers, vendors, and management Schedule Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Must be able to commute to Oneida, NY Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage Mileage reimbursement Health insurance available Life insurance Retirement plan available Paid holidays NYS Paid Sick Time Opportunities for advancement and professional development Supportive, team-oriented work environment Opportunity to learn additional maintenance and property management skills Join Our Team Join our team and become an important part of a company committed to maintaining clean, safe, and well-kept homes for our residents.
