You will be responsible for preventative maintenance, grounds work, painting, simple electrical and plumbing repairs and attention to other building concerns.

As needed, weekdays and weekends

Pay Range:

$17.50hr.-$26.00/hr.

Responsibilities:

Complete work order requests Perform safety checks on equipment and the facility Assist in fire and disaster drills Inspect fire extinguishers and document findings Test emergency generator under load condition General grounds keeping (litter pick-up, snow removal, etc.) Repair telephones and nurse call systems Repair walls, flooring and furniture Painting and wall covering as needed Move and relocate offices and resident rooms May be required to drive company vehicle Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent education required; technical education preferred Prior maintenance experience in a health care setting preferred Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical preferred Well-rounded knowledge of building trades, tools and the ability to maintain the physical plant and ancillary equipment Working knowledge of fire alarm systems and testing preferred EOE, including disability/protected veterans The Highlands at Brighton is committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving an inclusive and welcoming culture of equity, diversity, and inclusion.
