Full Job Description Shift :

Wednesday through Sunday from 2pm to 10:30pm. Off Mondays and Tuesdays. Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of skills and experience in facilities maintenance, ensuring that residential and commercial properties are well-maintained and functional. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently while providing excellent customer service. Duties Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry. Execute residential painting projects with attention to detail. Utilize programmable logic controllers for troubleshooting and repairs. Conduct welding tasks as needed for structural repairs or installations. Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshooting procedures. Maintain equipment using an Ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools. Oversee facilities maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Provide leadership and supervision to junior maintenance staff or contractors when necessary. Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client requests and inquiries. Document maintenance activities in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Requirements Proven experience in maintenance, with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Proficiency in electrical systems, plumbing, and general repairs. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers and schematics is preferred. Previous supervisory experience is a plus, showcasing leadership capabilities. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English. Experience in manufacturing environments is advantageous but not mandatory. A solid understanding of safety protocols related to maintenance work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
