St. Rita Church is a large campus with five buildings and green space. The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for providing maintenance of parish and school buildings and grounds, and cleaning of the Parish buildings. Collaborates with the Pastor, Principal, Finance Director, Buildings and Grounds Chairperson or their delegate in developing a comprehensive plan and schedule to address the operational and maintenance needs of the buildings and grounds. Responsibilities include snow removal, mowing, maintenance, repairs and cleaning. Responsibilities Successful work experience in minor repair work in carpentry, painting, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical. Successful work experience implementing a comprehensive cleaning plan for a facility, including sweeping, dusting, washing, and waxing. Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs such as HVAC system repair, electrical systems troubleshooting, plumbing system maintenance, and mechanical systems repair. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to schedule work orders, track maintenance activities, and maintain accurate records. Successful work experience maintaining grounds and parking lots. Ability to provide own transportation for job-related responsibilities. On-call availability for emergencies. Lead project management efforts for facilities upgrades or repairs, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope. Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, safety protocols, and equipment logs to support continuous improvement initiatives. Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate effectively with team members, vendors, and stakeholders. Mechanical aptitude combined with electrical experience to troubleshoot complex issues swiftly.
