In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial machinery and systems. Your expertise will help keep production running smoothly, minimize downtime, and uphold safety standards across the plant. Duties Install, dismantle, maintain, repair, reassemble, and move machinery. Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors, and connect couplings and belts to precise tolerances. Knowledgeable of the proper inspection, removal, installation, alignment, and lubrication of bearings, gears, belts, conveyors, and chains. Ability to perform preventative maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and minor component fabrication. Preform routine vehicle maintenance (fuel trucks, adjust brakes, fix lights, and other small mechanical problems. Knowledge in hand tools and proper use. Able to troubleshoot and repair the following: electrical systems, hydraulic systems, various cylinders, valves, accumulators, pumps, and the numerous hydraulic fluids used in these systems. Perform assigned tasks in a timely manner. Work autonomously or act as an effective team member, exhibiting good interpersonal skills. Able to communicate effectively to team members as well as non-maintenance personnel. Learn and work in accordance with company procedures and policies, as well as safety and environmental rules and guidelines. Must be comfortable working at heights. Qualifications 1

• 2 years of related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum 2-3 years maintenance experience, preferred. Able to troubleshoot and repair the following: electrical systems, hydraulic systems, various cylinders, valves, accumulators, and pumps. Experience working with and / repairing conveyor systems preferred. Experience reading schematics preferred. Check / wiring 480v 3phase experience preferred. Preferred experience or course work in maintenance principals and machine repair preferred. Strong analytical skills and theoretical background in mechanical systems. Industrial mill, shredder, or scrap experience preferred. Able to work in a drug-free workplace. Must be comfortable working at heights. Knowledgeable in basic hand tools and proper use.
