This essential role involves performing a wide range of maintenance, landscaping, and groundskeeping tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our property. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills in various maintenance disciplines, contributing to the upkeep and improvement of outdoor and indoor environments. Duties Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of landscaping, including mowing, lawn care, tree trimming, and gardening to maintain a healthy and attractive outdoor environment. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as excavators for construction, landscape installation, or hardscape projects. Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as irrigation system repairs, planting, pruning, and soil preparation. Manage snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access to premises. Maintain hardscape features including pathways, patios, and retaining walls through repair or installation efforts. Assist with tree care activities like pruning, trimming, and removal to promote safety and aesthetic appeal. Support general building maintenance tasks including minor repairs, plumbing fixes, and electrical troubleshooting. Support garden projects and horticultural activities to enhance overall site appearance. Collaborate with team members on larger projects involving landscaping or construction work. Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge with experience operating hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators. Demonstrated experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices. Knowledge of irrigation systems, snow plowing techniques, tree care (trimming and removal), and hardscape installation. Familiarity with construction processes and the use of landscaping equipment. Ability to perform physical tasks requiring strength and stamina in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and coordinate tasks efficiently. Prior experience in maintenance or groundskeeping roles is preferred but not mandatory.
