Graystone Properties/Tyler Village is looking for a dependable, hardworking General Laborer to help support the maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and appearance of our commercial properties in Tyler Village, located in beautiful Downtown Cleveland. Tyler Village is a historic, mixed-use commercial campus that combines office, creative, and community-focused spaces in a convenient location near Downtown Cleveland, University Circle, and the Asia Town/St. Clair-Superior area. Our properties make an impression every day. In this role, your work helps keep Tyler Village clean, safe, organized, and ready for the people who work, visit, and do business here. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in a job well done, enjoys working both indoors and outdoors, and is willing to help wherever needed. The General Laborer will assist with groundskeeping, snow removal, clean-outs, basic property support, and coordination with outside contractors to create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, vendors, and team members.

What You'll Do:

Maintain clean, safe, and orderly grounds, common areas, entrances, sidewalks, parking areas, and other assigned property spaces. Remove trash, debris, leaves, and other materials from interior and exterior areas as needed. Perform snow and ice removal duties, including shoveling, salting, and clearing walkways, entrances, and parking areas before tenants, employees, vendors, or visitors arrive. Assist with property clean-outs, unit turnovers, hauling, organizing, and disposal of unwanted materials. Provide general labor support for maintenance, repairs, landscaping, painting, moving, set-up, and other property-related projects. Assist outside contractors and vendors by providing access, direction, basic site support, and communication with management as needed. Identify and report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, property damage, or unusual conditions to the appropriate supervisor or manager. Use basic hand tools, power tools, cleaning supplies, groundskeeping equipment, and other assigned equipment safely and responsibly. Follow instructions, complete assigned tasks in a timely manner, and communicate progress or concerns promptly. Provide courteous, respectful, and professional service when interacting with tenants, residents, visitors, vendors, and coworkers. Perform other related duties as assigned to support property operations.

What We're Looking For:

Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Attention to detail and pride in property appearance. Proactive approach to identifying and addressing property needs. Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, snow, and ice. Ability to perform physical labor safely and consistently throughout the workday. Basic customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with tenants, residents, contractors, and coworkers.

Helpful Experience:

Previous experience in property management, facilities maintenance, landscaping, construction, custodial work, general labor, or a related field. Basic familiarity with hand tools, power tools, lawn equipment, snow removal equipment, and general maintenance practices. High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Schedule and Location This position works on-site at Tyler Village in Downtown Cleveland. Work schedules may vary based on property needs, seasonal demands, weather conditions, and assigned projects. Monday - Friday Generally, 7am-3pm; occasional weekends for special events; overtime as needed Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, climb, and perform manual labor for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, move, or position materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and around noise, dust, cleaning products, landscaping materials, and moving equipment.
