Job Summary A part-time facilities & operations worker is responsible for performing daily room set up and routine upkeep on a facility's building and equipment, including tasks like moving chairs, tables, and partitions, making coffee, basic cleaning and janitorial duties, minor repairs, and building and grounds maintenance, working a morning schedule of 10-15 hours per week , occasionally responding to requests as needed

Basic Responsibilities:

Adjust room size of classrooms by moving sliding walls along with arranging the desks and chairs according to renters' requests Make morning coffee for the renters and internal staff Stock the refrigerators with beverages Notify the staff when supplies are low for reordering Coordinate with staff regarding room setups, equipment, and supply needs for the following day Vacuum, sweep, and mop rooms on a rotating basis as needed Make sure there are no tripping hazards with outdoor mats Maintain the outdoor flags Perform minor repairs and maintenance as needed Perform seasonal grounds maintenance Regularly inspect and maintain the building and grounds, ensuring they are upkept and in working order Communicate when issues arise that require the attention of a professional Additional tasks as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Basic maintenance skills Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely Ability to read and follow instructions Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform tasks requiring bending, climbing, reaching, and pulling Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks Good communication skills to interact with renters, outside vendors, and management

Reliability Work Environment:
