Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance, repair, and improvement tasks across residential and commercial properties. This role offers an opportunity to utilize a diverse skill set to ensure properties are well-maintained, safe, and functional. The Handyman will work independently or as part of a team to address repair needs efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall upkeep and aesthetic appeal of our properties. Responsibilities Perform general repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and drywall work Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting systems and replacing worn parts Troubleshoot issues with appliances, fixtures, or structural components and implement solutions Install or assemble furniture, fixtures, or equipment as needed Respond promptly to repair requests from clients or property managers Maintain a clean and organized work area during and after projects Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes Keep detailed records of completed repairs and maintenance activities Skills Proven experience as a Handyman or in a similar maintenance role Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, painting, and general repairs Ability to troubleshoot problems efficiently and implement effective solutions Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with HVAC systems, tile work, or appliance repair This position is ideal for individuals who are versatile, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of property upkeep.
