Maintenance Worker

Washington-Morgan Counties Community Action is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Man to perform general maintenance and repair duties to ensure facilities, equipment, and grounds are safe, functional, and well-maintained. This position is responsible for completing routine maintenance tasks, responding to repair requests, and assisting with preventative maintenance activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on buildings, equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC systems. Complete work orders and maintenance requests in a timely manner. Conduct inspections of facilities and grounds to identify maintenance or safety concerns. Perform painting, carpentry, drywall repair, and general upkeep tasks. Assist with mechanic in light duty mechanics of agency vehicles. Assist with moving furniture, setting up rooms, and special projects. Operate maintenance tools and equipment safely and properly. Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and notify supervisor when supplies are needed. Follow all safety procedures and organizational policies. Respond to emergency maintenance situations as required. Maintain accurate records of completed work and repairs.

Start Wage:

$16.50 per hour (based on experience and skill-level)

Additional Qualifications:
